Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a structured, skills-based approach developed to help individuals who experience intense or difficult-to-manage emotions, impulsive behaviors, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and challenges in relationships. DBT focuses on building practical skills to manage overwhelming emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, and respond to difficult situations in healthier ways.

What makes DBT unique is its balance of acceptance and change. Rather than simply trying to eliminate difficult emotions, DBT helps individuals understand and accept their experiences while developing new skills to navigate them more effectively.

Our DBT Program

We offer both Standard and Intensive formats to meet different needs and levels of support.

Sessions are offered through a combination of in-person and telehealth options. Our open-group format allows new members to join throughout the year.
